Laziest Girl In Town. I recorded this song in 1994. It was originally released on the “Peterbilt Angel” cd.
The above photo is a self portrait by Mark Morrisroe.
We never secured the Beach Boys' bass and organ sample (or the usage of the verses from "Good Vibrations") so it had to be pulled from the Itunes release of “Peterbilt" this year. It came before “The Stoning Of Steven” on the original cd ( for the purists who have gotten "Peterbilt Angel" from Itunes and want to hear it right). Here it is - in all its bootleg glory - for you to have and share.

I wrote and recorded “Glitter Cowboy” right after the “4-Track” cd sometime in 1996. Its a song about drag, love, and cowboys. Its a song about what we do to deny it, and what we do to believe in it. The mix is a bit tripped up but here it is. Production Notes: Most of the tracks for this song were recorded into my Akia sampler and then arranged and mixed using DP to trigger all the samples. I played the guitar into the sampler as well and was able to use the sampler’s time stretching and filters to give it an almost slow motion sound. All of the flange effects where created by layering samples.The filters in the Akia give it that old timey - glam - carni vibe.
